Quality control

Quality is of paramount importance to The Fine Bedding Company Hospitality Division which is a division of Trendsetter Home Furnishings Ltd.

Baltic Fibres, Trendsetter’s factory in Estonia (where all of our fibre-filled products are produced) as well as our offices in Manchester, are fully audited and have been accredited to ISO9001 since 2008.

Our products carry the Oeko Tex “Confidence in Textiles” certification, and where appropriate also carry the Allergy UK Seal of Approval.

We are members of the industry body Sedex, and our suppliers as well as Baltic Fibres are audited to SMETA standards, ensuring that we and our partners are working to the best business practices possible, and constantly striving for improvement.

As members of the British Standard Institute and the European Down and Feather Association, we are always up to date with any changes in standards or legislation, and take very seriously our responsibility to promote and maintain the most ethical practices in sourcing natural fillings.

We work in partnership with Intertek, one of the world’s largest independent laboratories to ensure that our raw materials and finished products are tested and compliant with all required standards.

We are proud to announce as well, that Baltic Fibres successfully achieved ISO14001 accreditation in April 2014: our Head Office in Manchester is due to be audited later in the same year.
